Chief Dave Foxx 1957-2001 David Joseph Farrar |
Chief Dave Foxx Memorial Fund David Joseph Farrar, AKA Chief Dave
Foxx, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2001, and left behind a loving family which he
will no longer be able to provide for. Dave's wife Charlene will have the sole
responsibility of raising their children, which will surely be a difficult task. To help
alleviate some of the financial burdens and in hopes of being able to raise enough money
for Charlene to put aside for their children's future, the Chief Dave Foxx Memorial Fund
has been established. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and all contributions
should be sent directly to Charlene at the address listed below:

| Chief J. Fox, just want every one to know
that I was one of his last matches and I sat in the locker room most of the night talking
with him and earlier that night we got into the subject about wrestling and he told me
that he would be the most happiest person dying doing what he loves and that he did. He went out at the top of his game wining the world championship from me that night,me and him were the last 2 in the battle royal for the ucw world title. He went out like he wanted too, expecially being a champion in doing the thing he loved more than life it self. I still got the marks on my chest to prove it. LOL He had some of the most visous chops. Me and Sonny D. were the last 2 people he made conversation with before we seen him hit the floor and go out. I have know him for many years and we both that night shared conversations for a good couple hours talking about all sorts of things from wrestling with John Rambo and so on. When I got to the hospital and found out that he had passed on, I was deeply saden but in another way, it replenished my spirit for the sport, that man went against Doctors orders, knowing that he could die, his heart and will over came everything and that man still went out their and put on the last best 4 matches in his life that night. I feel saden but really happy for him that he went out the way he wanted to. Yes this was a great tragety but it made my spirit stronger for the sport, a spirit that will never quit. Just like his was, that man had more heart in this buisness than anyone I know. He gave his life for the sport and I take my hat off for him for that. I just like to say God bless him and hope that Jesus is taking good care of him and hope that he isn't lighting up people in the big ring in the sky too bad. LOL Take care Brother, see you in heaven soon and My heart and love is with you. All-American Dan Bidondi |
