....During intermission, NWL president Dick Caricofe announced there will
be a special sanctioned Hot Dog Eating Contest at the next NWL/HoPWF
event at the historic Apollo Civic Theater in Martinsburg, WV, on
Saturday, August 22, 2009. The winner of the contest will receive
$500.00 and will try out for the 2010 Nathan's Hot Dog Eatting Contest
in New York's Coney Island:

....Napalm was in a car accident on July 4th and will be out of action
for at least 2 months. Everyone at the NWL/HOUSE of PAIN would like to
wish napalm a speedy recovery. Hill got the pin on Farnsworth to
eliminate TWF from the match. Shadows faked a back injury to fool Hill
into thinking he was hurt and couldn't wrestle. Shadows quickly rolled
Hill up and used his feet on the ropes to get the pin and become the new
NWL Heavyweight champion! Shadows will be defending the title for the
first time at the next event. This match ended an exciting evening of
professional wrestling action and the NWL/HOUSE of PAIN would like to
thank the fans and staff of the Apollo Theater for their continued
support. The NWL/HoPWF will be back in action on Saturday, August 22,
2009, at the Apollo Theater in Martinsburg, WV. To reserve seats contact
