-vs-
Mike Lawson
165 lbs
Baltimore, MD
| Mike Lawson got the
pin on Jeremy Stoned at 8:43 following a dropkick from the top rope. After the match, the
Can-Am Connection once again approached Mike Lawson and asked him to join their team. They
told Lawson that if he was a Can-Am Connection member, he would have pinned someone like
Jeremy Stoned in less than a minute. Stoned got upset with the Can-Am Connection's
allegations and told the group that none of them could pin him in less than a minute. J.R.
Manitoba offered Stoned and Lawson a challenge for next Tuesday, 7-10-01. Manitoba told
the crowd that the Can-Am Connection will train Mike Lawson for one week and they
guarantee that Lawson will pin Jeremy Stoned in less than one minute, without any outside
interference. Manitoba also went on to say that if Lawson agreed to this match, the Can-Am
Connection will also guarantee that Lawson will have a title belt around his waist in less
than 30 days. Both wrestlers agreed, and HoPWF president John Rambo signed the match. |
