Cashis Carter hurt his knee late in the match and made a tag to Jesse Valentine. Carter
rolled out of the ring onto the floor and Jesse Valentine fired up on Jeremy Stoned.
Valentine was preparing to land a sitdown slam on Stoned, when Hyjinx and Jackpot Jimmy
Jessup got in the ring to prevent the move. Mighty Biggs entered the ring and nailed
Hyjinx and Jessup with a double clothesline as Valentine finished off Stoned with the
sitdown slam to get the pin at 9:37. |

attacked Fantasia. Referee Doug Rafferty disqualified Madison at 7:03 and declared
Fantasia the winner of the match but Madison retained the NWL Ladies Champion. NWL
president Dick Caricofe announced to the crowd that Fantasia will get an NWL Ladies Title
rematch in a "No Disqualification" contest at the NWL Brunswick High School
event in Brunswick, MD, on Sunday, March 10, 2002. |

ended up in the ring, with Leslie Leatherman and Flex Fenom as the legal wrestlers. Jake
Davis threw Aidiean out of the ring and the two men started fighting on the floor when
J.R. Manitoba came up from behind and nailed Davis in the head with a pair of brass
knuckles. Inside the ring, Leatherman caught Flex with a sidewalk slam and went for the
pin. J.R. Manitoba quickly got in the ring and tried to hit Leatherman with the brass
knuckles, but Leatherman ducked the punch and threw Manitoba out of the ring onto Aidiean.
By this time, Flex Fenom was working his way back to his feet. Leslie Leatherman tagged
Davis back into the match, and Davis dove off the top rope and hit Flex with a
"flying shoulder block" to get the pin at 13:17. The Highwaymen, Leslie
Leatherman & Jake "The Machine" Davis, are the new NWL Tag Team Title

Spazman Anthony with a flying sidekick off the top rope and Spazman crashed into referee
Mike DiMuzio, who fell to the mat. Aidiean & Flex Fenom ran to the ring and Aidiean
went to the top rope to drop an elbow on Rambo. Rambo moved and Aidiean crashed hard on
Anthony. Flex Fenom got in the ring and tried to hit Rambo with a pair of brass knuckles
but Rambo ducked the punch and caught Flex with a side suplex. As Rambo went to powerbomb
Aidiean, J.R. Manitoba hit Rambo from behind with the brass knuckles. Aidiean quickly
placed Spazman on Rambo for the cover and Manitoba got DiMuzio off the canvas to make the
pin count at 12:44. Spazman Anthony retained the NWL Heavyweight Title but NWL president
Dick Caricofe ordered an NWL Heavyweight Title "Lumberjack" Match between
Spazman Anthony and John Rambo for Sunday, March 10, 2002, at Brunswick High School in
Brunswick, MD. |

originally scheduled to be a Tag Team Match, but Bushwhacker Butch has reportedly been
sick and unable to wrestle. Bushwhacker Luke came out when his team was announced and told
the fans that he was willing to still wrestle The Freak & American Jackass in a
"Handicapped" Match. Luke got the pin on The Freak at 9:41 after he used
American Jackass' head to perform a "Bushwhacker Battering Ram" headbutt on The
Freak. This match ended another evening of excellent professional wrestling action at
Potomac State College in Keyser, WV, and the NWL looks forward to returning to the college
later this year! |
