Before the show began, HoPWF President John Rambo introduced West Virginia's #1 film producer, Martinsburg, WV, native, WVSU professor and newest member of the NWL/HoPWF roster, "Professor Danger" Danny Boyd, to the fans! Rambo went on to tell how Danny Boyd just returned from Africa where he was shooting scenes for his next Troma Entertainment, Inc. motion picture. Rambo also announced that Danny was recently nominated for an Emmy Award for a documentary film shot this past year. Danny Boyd took over on the microphone and went on to thank John Rambo for welcoming him into the NWL/HoPWF, and then surprised the fans when he officially announced that John Rambo has been cast for a major role in his upcoming Troma Entertainment, Inc., movie! Crucial Impact's Doken and Harlen Kano approached the ring area making a fuss over Rambo being selected for a movie role. Doken told Boyd that Rambo was a washed up old man and that Hollywood needs some young hot stars more than they need an old man. Doken challenged Boyd to a special stipulation match. If Doken could beat Boyd, he would take Rambo's place in the upcoming Troma release. Boyd asked Rambo if he should accept the challenge, and Rambo said yes but don't lose! In an "impromptu" match, Doken took on Danny Boyd.

"Professor Danger" Danny Boyd w/ John Rambo

...Danny Boyd got the pin on Doken after John Rambo nailed Doken in the head with a steel chair. Doken threw Referee Jeff Dennis into Boyd and both men hit the canvas. Harlen Kano tried to enter the ring to help Doken finish off Boyd, but Headshrinker Samu, who was watching from a short distance, ran to the ring and prevented Kano from interfering. Doken managed to hit Boyd with a steel chair, but Rambo quickly got the chair from Doken and dropped him with a shot to the head. Rambo quickly placed Boyd on top of Doken and exited the ring. The referee saw Boyd covering Doken and made the 3 count to end the match. Doken doesn't get to be in the Troma movie, but he did challenge Boyd to a rematch at the 6-20-05 HoPWF Martinsburg, WV, event at The Spot/Legz Night Club. Boyd accepted the challenge and the match has been signed.

Champion
Brooklyn Panther

Brooklyn, NY

...Brooklyn Panther retained the HoPWF Cruiserweight Title when "New Wave" Tyler Hilton was disqualified for using an object. Hilton took it to Brooklyn Panther most of the match and hit him with his finishing maneuver before going for the pin. As Referee Lloyd Dolan was making the 3 count, Panther's manager, Mike Trash, threw a weapon into the ring. After Dolan made the pin count, he noticed the weapon laying next to Hilton.
